I know you guys were pretty keen on the Raw Cacao Truffles I made at Stomp.. so here you go! Time to make them in your own homes - and with this easy recipe and only 4 ingredients there really are no excuses ;)
1 cup pitted dates (soaked, preferably)
1/2 cup cacao
1/3 cup almond meal
A pinch of salt
Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend till smooth.
You may need to add a little water to help combine.
Roll in toppings of your choice (I use chopped almonds and coconut), or eat as they are!
Makes 20 small truffles.
47 calories per truffle | 1g protein | 6.9g carbs | 6.3g sugar
Another versatile recipe that is super rich and surprisingly filling- and why not try adding peppermint essence, or pistachios, or even protein powder for an after Stomp snack? :)
